BACK BITING : A WEAK MENTALITY OR A WEAK HEART

Mantras are chanted to spread positivity and serenity around us. Good words and smiles have tremendous potentials to spread godliness in and around. Om, the most powerful word of the world vibrates the body and mind to kill the negativity and spread positivity in and around us. Our subconscious mind can always differentiate between good and bad and always pushes us to listen to the inner  call. But when this mind is in the control of other instinct minds, it goes out of our control. We are driven by immediate and temporary pleasure and become a puppet in the hands of others. Slowly an imaginary world is built in and around that with fantacy, which soothes us, satisfies our egos and suffice to our requirements. 

Any organisation is driven by Talent, Culture, Strategy, Decision and Execution, the five pillars. Corporate back biting and slanders are commonly used to hide somebody's failure or frustrations. When the focus of the members of the company is shifted towards temporary pleasure rather than the organisational excellence, people involve them in backbiting about the people, those who are connected to excellence. Absence of growth strategies both personal and professional mislead the organisational and personal with properly coded policies should be distributed among all members of the group to keep them in proper direction to grow, which will push most of them to achieve success. 

Communication is the key for any type of relationships, institutional, social, workplace or personal. Again and again rethinking on type of communication, its effectiveness, quality time, quality of conversations, truthfulness, connectedness with both organisational and personal goals builds the foundation of workplace relationships. If 10 people get promotion and one is left behind, the person rather than accepting his weakness, spreads negative about policies, processes and system. One has to be bold enough to accept others success and reflect on it.

In the fast growing world, where change is the only law of the world, to maintain the pace and relevance is being very very crucial for each and every individual. So the achievements, successes can not come regularly to a single individual by following the regular pattern. It can come to anyone at any point of time on any matter. A person should be ready to celebrate success of everybody to live in peace and with love.  

 One thing I remember from Mahabharata. When Yudhisthira asked Dhritarashtra to give Khandaprastha to Pandabas, they were very happy. Because they thought Mayasura and Takshak both will kill those Pandabas. Dhrutarashtra says to Yudhisthira when you will establish your kingdom and do the inauguration, I will give you 1000 cows and 1000 gold coins. When Khandaprastha was converted to Indraprastha by Pandavas and Kauravas were invited, Bidur asked Dhrutarashtra are we giving 1000 cows and 1000 gold coins tomorrow to Pandabas ? Then Dhritarashtra says "Do you have any doubt on my commitment ? " Bidur says " People love to donate to beggars to fulfil their own human or spiritual aspirations". It is the symbol of humanity, kindness and symbolises all good human virtues. But giving rights to the deservings need much more courage and broad heart. So I was clearing the confusion of my own heart. 

In Saucha Kriya, doing good is controlling mind not to allow bad thoughts about others come inside. When some one feels insecure of something, rather than focusing on their strengths, they try to speak ill about others to present them weaker in the world. As a result, the person becomes weaker and weaker from the inside, becomes abusive when see the other person to stop him or her to speak the truth and tries to push the other person into such silos.

According to Islam backbiting is the most severe sin than bribery, disrespecting parents or adultery. Because it is said that it is the reason for all social wars, emotional break downs and cultural or spiritual trauma.  When backbiting is supported by systematic strategic exaggerations and frantic design, it becomes more dangerous and creates devastations. It is treated as most powerful tool to hide ones imperfections and harm others. 

Secret Slander is strongly condemned in Bible and considered as a sin similar to murder. Here many types of backbitings are mentioned and most severe is spreading rumours about others and making them socially alienated. 

High level of intolerance for others, self pseudo ego being great, always diminishing others' talent, superiority complexes and weak heart combined together creates conflict in physical, mental, intellectual and emotional level. In management theory it is said revelation of less information about oneself is the key to control back biting and control the intolerant environment. 

But openness to accept success, goodness in others is divine.
